I'm such an advocate of dog ownership. Time and time again studies show that owning a dog can add to your health and happiness. My doggies are my exercise buddies. We walk every day and love to find new trails to conquer. They relieve any stress I may be holding onto with their sweet loving.

I want to thank you for your response to the "Getting Older" post. That meant a lot.
My life has changed "a lot" due to my spinal surgery. I've had to give up so much I have loved. I had to close my martial art school and quit teaching fitness. I will never be able to do the things I use to. That's the bad news.

My puppy had surgery. She was born with no moisture on the right side of her face. She was in terrible pain. The eye had to be removed to relieve her pain.
The doctor did a great job with her eye implant. Once the swelling goes down and her hair grows back she'll be even cuter than before because her face will be symmetrical with one winking eye.
